"MOVE IT' SCIENCE WORSHOP

The grade 2's had a wonderful week back after the Easter long weekend. We ended the week with an afternoon of science fun! The students were involved in five centre rotations. The focus was simple machines. The students have brought home a plastic ziploc with items, that they made in the workshop. Please have them explain what type of simple machines they learned about as you talk about each item.

A BIG THANK YOU to our volunteers. This program would not be possible without many extra set of hands. Thank you to Mrs. Constantine, Mr. Abarca, Mrs. Gleeson and Mrs. Barney.

Holy Week Pics

We had a very busy week preparing our hearts for Easter. We walked through the stations of the cross and discussed the journey of Jesus.  A BIG thanks to Mrs. Alexanders' grade 3 class. We joined them for a 'washing of the feet' art activity and joined them for the 'Last Supper' as we enjoyed homeade bread.
